ISARIC Career Development Fellowship Scheme
Thanks to the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, 2019 saw ISARIC launch the first round of its two career development fellowship schemes.
Health professionals (e.g. qualified doctors, pharmacists, or nurses) from the ISARIC Member Networks or Associate Members, are able to apply for the Track 1 and or Track 2 schemes.
The fellowship scheme aims to help fellows, from our member networks, to further their careers and develop new skills in generating and disseminating clinical research evidence for outbreak-prone infectious diseases. The scheme aspires to build existing networks in providing a proficient, coordinated, and agile research response to outbreak-prone infectious diseases, and will run for a further three years.
Preference has initially been given to Low and Middle income countries nationals as we focus on building up our networks in resource-poor settings.
