Daniel holds a joint appointment at King’s College London and Sechenov University and leads ISARIC’s programme of work on Outcomes Harmonisation Science, focusing on the standardisation of outcome definitions, measurement instruments, and reporting frameworks across global infectious disease studies. His work centres on the development of core outcome sets using consensus methodologies, including Delphi processes and multi-stakeholder engagement with patients, clinicians, researchers, and policymakers.
Through close collaboration with ISARIC partners worldwide, Daniel works to enhance data interoperability, cross-pathogen comparability, and the reusability of clinical research data. His research agenda supports long-term follow-up studies, cross-cohort analyses, and evidence synthesis, with the aim of reducing research waste and strengthening the global evidence base for clinical practice and health policy.
Daniel is a clinician-scientist with extensive experience in leading international collaborative research and outcome harmonisation initiatives.
