Juliana Ferreira

Juliana Ferreira, M.D., Ph.D., ATSF is an Associate Professor in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She graduated in Medicine at the University of Sao Paulo, was a research fellow and currently at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School between 2005 and 2007 and obtained her PhD from the University of Sao Paulo.

Currently she serves as Associate Program Director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship and as a member of the PhD Program in Pulmonology at the University of Sao Paulo. Her research interests include mechanical ventilation, global health, and medical education. In addition to her roles at the University of Sao Paulo, she is the Director of the ATS Methods in Epidemiologic, Clinical, and Operations Research (MECOR) program in Latin America, and Member Representative on the ISARIC Executive Board.
